Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating Days

Lower South East Region

When the CFS declares a Catastrophic Fire Danger Rating day, in line with our Bushfire Action Policy, the St Martins buses (including Naracoorte, Millicent, Strathdownie & Port MacDonnell) will not run.
School will continue as usual.

Normally, confirmation of a Catastrophic Danger will occur between 4:00pm and 5:00pm on the day preceding the Catastrophic Danger. To access information regarding the declaration of a Catastrophic Danger, it is best to access the CFS website at www.cfs.sa.gov.au

College Bus Services

Assisting those families living outside of Mount Gambier, St Martins offers four bus services in the following areas:

Port MacDonnell

Morning: Departs Mount Gambier travelling along Glenelg River Road (Nelson Road), Green Point Road, Eight Mile Creek Road to Port MacDonnell. Following Port MacDonnell the bus continues along Bay Road via Allendale East, Mount Schank and Moorak, arriving at the college at 8:30am.

Afternoon: Departs the college at 3:25pm and travels via Moorak, Mount Schank and Allendale East to Port MacDonnell, then Glenelg River Road back to Mount Gambier.

Naracoorte

Morning: Departs Naracoorte and travels along the Riddoch Highway via Penola, Nangwarry and Tarpeena, arriving at the college at 8:30am.

Afternoon: Departs the college at 3:35pm and travels via Tarpeena, Nangwarry and Penola to Naracoorte.

Millicent

Morning: Departs Millicent and travels along the Princes Highway via Tantanoola and Glencoe, arriving at the college at 8:30am.

Afternoon: Departs the college at 3:25pm and travels via Glencoe and Tantanoola to Millicent.

Strathdownie (Victoria)

Morning: Departs Strathdownie and travels along the Glenelg Highway arriving at the college at 8:30am

Afternoon: Departs the college at 3:25pm to Strathdownie.
